in a Swag at the Mansfield Zoo
Mansfield Zoo now offers the unique opportunity for the adventurer
in you to stay overnight in a swag at one of our many locations
within the Zoo grounds. The warmer weather make the experience lots
of fun, and will provide an even more memorable animal experience as
you fall asleep to the sounds of the lions, dingos, and other night
sounds.
Relax in the comfort of our fully netted and weather proof swags,
free from the bother of mosquitos and flies.

How it
works:
'Swagovers' are available all year round and are most popular in the
warmer months. Numbers are strictly limited to a maximum of 14
people, so be sure to book early if you have a larger group.
Two days of entry to the Zoo is included and you are free to roam the grounds on
both the day of arrival and the day of departure. Assist the Zoo
keeper to feed most of the animals in the Zoo on your own
personal tour. You will need to
bring along a bbq dinner for your group, and breakfast of your
choice. Most people like to have pancakes on the bbq for
brekky!
Costs are $65.00 per adult and $45.00 per child. Note that children
need to be 8 years or older to participate.
Complementary tea and coffee are provided and the cafe is open if
any other light refreshments are needed.
Note: Lion feeding is at 5.00 pm in summer and 1.30pm in winter,
every Sat, Sun, Public and School
